User Experience Case Study: Henriettibles.com
Henriettibles.com was originally conceived as a food blog – a good one, to be sure, but the food blogging space is a crowded one, and the site’s founder wanted to turn it into something more. So she asked Oyova for help.
We asked ourselves what the typical food blog reader would appreciate getting from Henriettibles that they may not be getting from other food sites. We realized that a more user-centric approach to interactivity could be just the ticket. So we expanded the standard feature set of the WordPress platform (the whole site is built on WordPress) to allow the site owner to more easily enter recipes into a standalone recipe directory. Those recipes could then be paired with specific articles as well as searched, which meant the user could seek out relevant information in whichever method was most comfortable for them. Additionally, the new focus on user experience helped draw more users further into the site itself.
